Surfing helps the boxing and boxing helps the surfing.Sam trains Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Camborne/Redruth boxing club.

Boxing shows take place in the winter season and Sam has boxed all over the Country. His titles include :Southern area Novice champ 2006/2007, Western Counties, Novice Champ 2007, A.B.A English Novice Runner up 2007
